The Wilderness Medecine Institute sends out updates and scenarios that can 
be used to test your emergency response skills. They just sent out a good 
one on snakebite injury.

They are offereing several Wilderness First Aid trainings in santa Cruz this 
spring. Check their website for details. Dates are Jan 27-28, March 3-4, 
April 14-15, May 12-13. Also San Luis Obispo on Feb 10-11.

Speaking of snakes, this is a great time for trailwork because you don't 
need to constantly be thinking about snakes.
